Top SchoolNima Khoshini is an engineering leader with 11 years of experience building high-performance distributed systems and developer platforms across startups and large tech companies. He has led platform and performance engineering teams at Voltron Data and GIPHY, architecting GPU-enabled query engines, gRPC migrations, and ML annotation pipelines that reduced costs and improved observability. As a founder and CTO twice over, he shipped blockchain indexing and smart-contract features for wallet-to-wallet messaging and scaled teams and infrastructure with Terraform, ArgoCD, and Kubernetes. Early work on Siri and at Change.org demonstrates a long-running focus on low-latency client-server protocols and production-grade UI systems. Based in the New York City area and now at Apple again, he blends hands-on engineering with mentorship—promoting ICs into managers and codifying admin and DR practices—and often surfaces operational telemetry into product-facing features. A practical technologist, he favors measurable performance wins and developer ergonomics over theoretical complexity.
