Summary
🤩
RockstarNipun Tharuksha is a Senior Software Engineer based in Colombo with eight years of experience building high-traffic Laravel and Vue.js applications and scalable backend systems on AWS. He transitioned from leading 50+ production staff as a Planning Executive to software development through self-teaching and formal IT studies, bringing uncommon operational discipline to engineering teams. At jeylabs he led developer teams, drove architecture decisions, and optimized performance-critical workflows for apps handling thousands of sessions daily. His experience spans product-led startups and enterprise contexts, from project lead roles at Surf2Ship to production-focused positions that demanded strict data accuracy and process improvements. Nipun is a hands-on mentor who raises code quality and delivery predictability while still shipping features himself. He combines a practitioner’s focus on performance and reliability with a pragmatic, operations-minded approach to engineering.
