Top SchoolNoah Cook is a software engineer and University of Florida computer science student with eight years of hands-on experience building web applications across startups and major tech internships. He currently builds product features at a startup after contributing to performance and observability tooling at Google (OpenTelemetry exporter) and user-facing infrastructure at Instagram and Facebook. Noah blends front-end and back-end skills—React, real-time messaging, and PHP/Hack—while also mentoring peers as a former large-course teaching assistant. He has a demonstrated knack for reducing developer friction and shipping production improvements, such as cutting Messenger call test times from minutes to seconds. Based in Gainesville, he’s passionate about the internet and pragmatic system design, and is eager to translate that passion into impactful, user-facing products after graduation.
