Top SchoolNoam Samuel is a backend-focused software engineer with 17 years of experience building product-facing systems across FinTech and consumer payments. He contributed to payment method APIs and new API designs at Stripe, and earlier worked on CashApp Banking and Register at Square after a stint on Chrome at Google. Comfortable operating at the intersection of product and infrastructure, he favors pragmatic API design and reliable operations for high-throughput financial services. Based in Oakland, he combines big-tech rigor with startup adaptability and a history of shipping customer-facing features end-to-end. Currently on a planned career break and reentering the workforce in early 2025, he’s primed to bring deep payments domain knowledge and product sensibility to his next role. An understated detail: his background includes both teaching and early product sample-app development, reflecting an ability to explain complex systems and ship polished demos.
