Summary
👤
SeniorNorman Mackay is a mobile architect and freelance company owner based in Scotland with nine years of focused experience delivering cross-platform mobile apps using MAUI, Xamarin.Forms and Flutter. He specialises in app architecture, technical leadership and mentoring, having led multiple teams to ship large-scale enterprise and store apps for healthcare, retail and other sectors. Norman has a track record of solving hard platform problems—memory optimization, native customisations and dynamic eForm engines that render complex API-driven forms natively. His freelance work includes creating reusable mobile frameworks to maximise code reuse and speed up delivery across apps. Comfortable working directly with third-party vendors, he combines deep .NET/C# expertise with pragmatic product-minded engineering. Available for contract engagements, he brings both hands-on development and strategic technical oversight.
