Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolNuno Do Carmo is a product marketing manager and technical communicator with ~8 years of hands-on IT and infrastructure experience, now focused on cloud-native and developer-facing product adoption at SUSE. He blends deep Unix and virtualization roots (Solaris, HP‑UX, Linux, LDOMs, Zones) with practical product delivery in highly regulated pharmaceutical environments, where he led global LMS administration and compliance-focused technical projects. An active open-source advocate, he spent years blogging and mentoring, earning recognition as a Microsoft Windows Insiders MVP for WSL and more recently as a Docker Captain for his work on Docker Desktop’s WSL backend. Comfortable translating complex technical topics into customer-facing documentation and marketing, he has moved between senior system analyst, technical writer, and product roles while keeping strong troubleshooting and stress-resilience skills. Based in Montreux, Switzerland, he leverages long daily commutes to contribute to communities—an unusual habit that helped build his reputation as a practical educator and client advocate.
