Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolNuo Xu is a software engineer with a decade of experience specializing in large-scale OLAP databases and disaggregated storage engines, currently building systems at Alibaba that serve petabytes of data for AI workloads. He progressed from internships focused on disaggregating RocksDB and contributing to the MatrixOrigin HTAP database to a full-time role designing storage and query infrastructure at scale. His background blends academic research at The Ohio State University and graduate study in computer engineering at USC with hands-on engineering across startups and hyperscale environments. Comfortable in low-level storage internals and distributed database design, he brings practical experience turning research ideas into production systems. Despite a self-deprecating GitHub bio, his career shows steady growth into high-impact infrastructure projects in Beijing and beyond.
