Senior🎓
Top SchoolObay Adam is a software engineer based in Berlin with a decade of hands-on experience building scalable full-stack web applications across Node.js, PHP/Laravel, and modern frontend frameworks like React and Vue. He has led teams and end-to-end projects—from architecting automated data integration gateways and on-demand delivery platforms to migrating legacy sites into performant static builds—while operating at companies serving millions of users. His backend expertise spans relational and NoSQL stores, message queues, caching, and big-data pipelines (Postgres, Cassandra, RabbitMQ, Redis, Hive/Hadoop), enabling robust, data-driven features and reporting. Comfortable shipping both production services and developer tooling, he has authored Node.js CLI utilities that processed 50M+ records to drive decision-making. Now at GetYourGuide, he brings a blend of technical leadership, operational pragmatism, and a knack for simplifying complex integrations across distributed systems. Notably, he combines startup velocity with enterprise-grade practices like TDD, code review culture, and automated integration between multiple external systems.
