Senior🎓
Top SchoolOctavio Richter is a founding DevOps engineer with 11 years of hands-on experience building cloud-native platforms and developer-facing tooling from Brazil’s Santa Catarina. He specializes in GitOps, Terraform, Kubernetes and cost-optimized autoscaling—recently driving a ~37% runtime cost reduction through Karpenter and smarter bin packing. Octavio has led platform and observability efforts at scale, supporting clusters with hundreds of TiB of RAM and thousands of cores while unifying documentation across 20+ teams and 300+ services. He blends SRE rigor with developer experience, migrating legacy stacks to Kubernetes and creating self-serve platforms and CI/CD paved roads that reduce toil. Comfortable in both startup and enterprise contexts, he’s founded cloud platform teams, shipped secure multi-tenant systems, and iterated on bespoke provisioning tools in Go and Pulumi. Known for pragmatic automation and clear cross-team coaching, he pairs deep infrastructure craft with product-focused delivery.
