Top SchoolOded David is an engineering manager based in Tel Aviv with nine years of professional experience leading full-stack teams and building product-focused developer organizations. He has a strong hands-on background from roles as first developer and senior engineer through to Head of Engineering, shipping products using Python, React/Angular, and relational and NoSQL databases. At Permit.io he helped scale a PLG startup—recruiting, improving monitoring and support systems, and coaching a 10-engineer org—and now leads the IPM team at Island. His roots in Israeli Military Intelligence gave him deep security, data-mining, and cross-platform development skills and include leading a squad that earned a unit award. Colleagues describe him as a pragmatic leader who blends architecture and infrastructure ownership with day-to-day coding and operational excellence. He’s comfortable taking early-stage technical risks and turning them into repeatable engineering practices.
