Senior🎓
Top SchoolOdinn Adalsteinsson is an independent software engineer with 20+ years of backend and DevOps experience, focused on PHP/Laravel and building scalable, high-traffic systems. He architects end-to-end features, optimizes MySQL/Redis-backed domains, and enforces strong testing and CI practices to keep deployments reliable and maintainable. He has led enterprise-grade API and webhook integrations, introduced AI-assisted development workflows, and consistently driven test coverage and coding standards across distributed teams. With 12+ years managing infrastructure (Docker, AWS, Linux) he bridges application design and operational excellence to reduce downtime and complexity. Unusually, he revives and ports decades-old projects (like GoldED) while using LLMs to surface hidden signals—coverage, structure, and flow—across legacy and modern systems. Based in Copenhagen, he’s open to remote roles across Europe/EMEA/global and combines systems-level thinking with hands-on delivery.
