Top SchoolOduvaldo Pavan is a Senior Software Developer based in São Paulo with over two decades of hands-on experience in payment and identification systems, currently focusing on EMV card issuance and validation at Entrust. He designs personalization scripts for GlobalPlatform and MULTOS cards across EMV/Mastercard/Visa/Amex/Discover profiles and builds test scenarios using Barnes, while also working on ICAO-compliant ID and passport issuance. His background spans firmware and software for self-service modules—using C/C++ and IBM Rhapsody—including contact/contactless readers, printers and bulk cash depositors, reflecting deep embedded-systems expertise. He has significant practical experience with contactless payment kernels, NFC, and USB certification workflows, having participated in multiple plugfests to certify devices for usb.org. Combining an electronics engineering degree with continuous product-level delivery since 2000, he brings rare cross-domain fluency between chip-level integration and end-to-end validation. Colleagues rely on him for solving complex interoperability challenges that sit at the intersection of secure hardware, firmware and payment protocol ecosystems.
