Summary
🎓
Top SchoolOfir Lapid is a Senior Software Engineer based in Israel with five years of professional experience building production-grade software across startups and larger companies. He has progressed through roles at Siemens PLM, Gigya, and security-focused build.security (acquired by Elastic), later contributing at Elastic before joining Overwolf where he currently develops platform capabilities. Comfortable in fast-moving, acquisition-prone environments, he brings practical experience in product integrations, reliability, and scaling developer-facing systems. A strong academic foundation in computer science from IDC Herzliya underpins his hands-on approach, and his early work as a private tutor reflects an aptitude for explaining complex technical concepts clearly. Notably, his career shows a pattern of joining teams at pivotal moments—product growth, acquisition, or platform evolution—where pragmatic engineering drives measurable impact.
