Okay Zed
Summary
🤩
RockstarOkay Zed is a seasoned software engineer with 15 years of experience building products at major tech companies and early-stage ventures, currently serving as a Member of Technical Staff at OpenAI and based in Oakland, California. His career spans Microsoft, Facebook/Meta, and independent work, giving him deep experience in large-scale systems and product-driven engineering. Comfortable oscillating between hands-on coding and self-directed professional projects, he blends pragmatic delivery with curiosity—his GitHub bio cheekily calling him a "part-time human." Colleagues describe him as the kind of engineer who prevents scope creep by shipping practical solutions while keeping an eye on long-term architecture.
