Senior🎓
Top SchoolOleg Parashchenko is a Rust-focused principal full-stack engineer based in Munich with 15+ years of professional experience and a Master’s in Mathematics and Computer Science. He builds scalable, production-grade systems across cloud-native stacks—Kubernetes, AWS, ECS, Terraform—while shipping services that combine vector search, recommendation engines, and realtime AI components. At BurdaForward he led a cross-functional effort to deliver personalized content recommendations using Vespa, OpenAI embeddings and vector search, and he has a track record of turning prototypes into 100x-scalable services at Cliqz. Comfortable across languages (Rust, TypeScript, Node.js, Python, Java) and roles from architect to hands-on implementer, he also publishes tools such as the Rust crate rjiter for streaming JSON. Notably, he blends rigorous academic training with pragmatic product instincts—often extracting clear specifications from ambiguous requirements to accelerate delivery.
