Oleksandr Andrieiev is a project manager and former security software engineer with eight years of experience leading security certification and hardening efforts for mobile and IoT platforms at Samsung Electronics. Trained in applied mathematics, he began in AI research but pivoted to information security, contributing to the world’s first Mobile Device Fundamentals Protection Profile evaluation and improving protections for millions of devices. He combines deep Android OS middleware expertise (OpenSSL, JCA, networking, key storage) with hands-on coding in C, Java and Python and practical Common Criteria test tooling. As an Agile leader he has grown and managed teams of 5–30 engineers, guiding development, certification and productization of security components. He has chaired and vice-chaired security work groups in prominent SDOs (Open Connectivity Foundation, FiRa, Car Connectivity Consortium, GlobalPlatform), authoring specs and open-source contributions to IoT stacks. Less obvious: his background in fuzzy-logic neural research gives him a rare blend of formal analytical thinking and pragmatic security engineering.
