Top SchoolOleksandr Parfionov is a Head of Engineering and Python specialist with nine years of experience building scalable backends, deploying ML models, and leading R&D for computer vision and applied math-driven products. Based in Kyiv, he combines hands-on development—from Django APIs and Dockerized production deployments to pose-estimation pipelines—with strategic system design to ensure reliability and scalability. He has co-founded and led product development for fitness and health apps that integrate real-time pose estimation, heartbeat telemetry, and social features, turning research prototypes into investor-ready PoCs. Prior roles include building anti-phishing NLP, floor-plan segmentation for automated estimates, and EDA tooling, reflecting a breadth across NLP, CV, and embedded toolchains. Known for bridging research and production, he focuses on smooth model-to-service integration and pragmatic engineering trade-offs. Trained in applied mathematics and physics at MIPT, he brings rigorous analytical thinking to product-oriented ML engineering.
