Top SchoolOleksiy Strelets is a frontend developer and tech lead with 20+ years in the industry and 14 years focused on front-end engineering, known for building high-performance, compact JavaScript solutions for video streaming, mapping, navigation, satellite services and automotive clients. He has led development of one of the world’s largest video players—optimizing multi-package builds, adaptive streaming (DASH/HLS), casting, custom subtitles, and real-time debugging panels—to serve hundreds of millions of users while keeping bundles a fraction of competitor size. Comfortable switching between R&D, MVP and pre-sale work, he blends a business-oriented mindset with hands-on engineering, shipping experimental features and A/B-driven product changes at marketplaces and startups. His background includes founding a top-ranked travel app and inventing novel asset storage and vector mapping engines, demonstrating both product intuition and low-level optimization chops. Based in Kyiv, he seeks product-focused teams where deep media and mapping experience accelerates bold, interactive web products.
