Top SchoolOlena Kostrova is a full-stack developer and senior consultant based in Victoria, BC with four years of hands-on experience building web, desktop, mobile and XR applications. She started learning software development at age 11 and has a strong appetite for solving tricky technical puzzles, which drives continuous self-improvement and breadth across front-end, back-end and occasional DevOps work. At FreshWorks Studio (now EY Design Studio) she progressed through multiple full-stack roles, contributing to COVID-related apps, environmental systems, a WebRTC pet-owner app from a hackathon, and VR prototypes. Comfortable in Agile teams and Scrum ceremonies, she focuses on shipping user-focused web solutions while mentoring peers through practical collaboration. Her academic foundation in computer science (Thompson Rivers University, 4.03 GPA) complements an experimental streak in XR and real-time web features that sets her apart.
