Senior🎓
Top SchoolOliver Benns is a freelance full-stack software engineer based in London with 11–12 years of experience delivering high-performance, real-time systems for fast-paced startups and institutional crypto trading teams. He blends pragmatic full-stack expertise (React, TypeScript, Node.js, Go, PostgreSQL) with product thinking and an all-hands-on-deck approach, having led engineering work at Elwood and built platforms for multi-strategy hedge funds. Comfortable shipping quickly under pressure, he now focuses on short-term contracts and early-stage collaborations where speed and reliability matter. A former front-end specialist turned systems engineer, he brings both UI sensibility and backend scalability experience—useful when bridging product and infrastructure decisions.
