Top SchoolOliver Croomes is a data engineer with 12 years of experience building production data platforms and ETL pipelines for consumer-facing tech at scale, currently contributing to Instagram's data stack in the New York City area. He has driven warehouse builds and performance wins at Reddit and Mya—where his work turned ad-hoc reporting into product-grade dashboards and improved query speed by two orders of magnitude. Comfortable owning end-to-end solutions, he has implemented Airflow CI/CD, created annotation and search integrations, and migrated pipelines to support ML and NLP teams. A former Insight Data Science fellow and Tableau intern, he combines practical distributed-processing chops with a knack for turning engineering experiments into company priorities. Notably, he often operates as the sole data-engineer-in-residence on cross-functional teams, surfacing signals that directly inform product and customer decisions.
