Summary
👤
SeniorOliver Diamond is a Principal Engineer based in London with 10 years of hands-on experience building and scaling full‑stack JavaScript systems and cloud-native architectures across media, finance and education. He currently leads multiple teams at ITV on a high‑revenue advertising platform built with Typescript, React and AWS serverless technologies, and has repeatedly driven microservice, devops and CI/CD transformations as CTO and engineering lead. Known for growing junior-heavy teams, he pairs mentorship and developer experience improvements with pragmatic delivery—shifting monoliths to microservices, introducing GitOps and event-driven patterns to accelerate velocity. His eclectic background (politics, film, finance) informs a product-focused mindset that prioritises business value over vanity tech, while still championing functional programming and programmer autonomy.
