Senior🎓
Top SchoolOliver Koernig is a senior solutions architect specializing in data and AI for the insurance industry, currently leading technical strategy at Databricks for telematics, generative AI, claims and underwriting use cases. With 20+ years serving insurance and financial services—spanning roles from consulting and sales to product and field engineering—he blends deep domain knowledge with hands-on cloud and ML architecture. He has built and led the first FS-focused technical sales team at Databricks, consistently meeting aggressive growth targets while advising marquee clients as a trusted technical partner. Oliver’s background includes architecting production AI systems at IBM and startups, pairing advanced techniques (deep learning, Bayesian methods) with pragmatic integrations into enterprise ecosystems. Based in Jersey City, he combines technical leadership, hiring and team-building experience with a track record of translating complex data challenges into measurable business outcomes. A less obvious strength is his cross-functional fluency—equally comfortable in go-to-market strategy, prototype engineering and operationalizing ML at scale.
