Top SchoolOliver Sterzel is a DevOps consultant with 15 years' experience designing and operating distributed systems, virtualization, and cloud infrastructure for clients across government, media, and gaming. He has led webops and infrastructure efforts at Equal Experts, HMRC and the Home Office, and built cost-optimised, automated deployments and hosting platforms for social games and retail systems. Comfortable from low-level Linux and networking to large-scale virtual environments (VMware, Xen, KVM) and cloud automation, he bridges hands-on system administration with architecture and system design. A pragmatic problem-solver, he combines a long history managing hundreds of retail store systems with a continual curiosity for emerging technologies and practical cost-saving cloud patterns.
