Senior🎓
Top SchoolOliver Stollmann is a seasoned technology entrepreneur and engineering leader with 14 years of experience building industrial automation and factory software. As Co-Founder and CEO of Actyx he led development of a decentralized factory automation platform that reframed how factories and developers automate systems, and he currently serves as CTO & Co-Founder at APX. His background blends academic research (Fraunhofer, PARC, ETH Zurich) in cognitive automation and planning with hands-on product leadership, from heuristic schedulers to resilient M2M control systems. He has repeatedly turned complex control and uncertainty problems into practical, deployable software that shortens configuration time by orders of magnitude. Based in Berlin, Oliver combines mechanical engineering training with deep expertise in distributed systems for manufacturing—an uncommon mix that helps bridge shop-floor realities with scalable developer platforms.
