Top SchoolOliver Switzer is a Chief Technology Officer and applied AI systems specialist with 12 years of experience building cloud-native, high-concurrency platforms and developer tooling. He has led R&D and production prototypes that marry LLM-assisted transformation with distributed architectures, notably demoing autonomous COBOL modernization workflows at Google Next 2025. Oliver’s pragmatic engineering spans Rust-based replication pipelines, OTP/Elixir agentic workflows, Helm/Kubernetes/Terraform infrastructure, and custom parsers for legacy ecosystems like JCL and Db2. He excels at rapidly enabling AI workflows across unfamiliar codebases and shipping mission-critical modernization services for Fortune 500 clients. Based in New York, he combines deep systems-level engineering with a background in physics and hands-on lab research, which informs his experimental approach to solving large legacy-to-AI migration problems.
