Top SchoolOlivier Deheurles is a seasoned technology leader and co-founder with over a decade building high-performance, realtime eTrading and eCommerce systems across global financial institutions. As CTO and later Board Member of Adaptive Financial Consulting, he led delivery of the Hydra platform—an Aeron-based architecture that powers low-latency, highly available trading systems—and helped scale the business from a small consultancy to a multi-office firm. He combines hands-on engineering and architecture with commercial leadership, driving pre-sales, client delivery and productisation of core components. Olivier is convinced AI, bots and blockchain will reshape trading and settlement, and he actively designs systems to future-proof firms beyond the typical web-service-on-DB model. Based in Portugal and passionate about applying finance-grade realtime architectures to other industries, he balances technical rigor with an emphasis on team culture and practical UX gains. Outside the office he has stepped back to homeschool his children while remaining engaged as a non-executive director and shareholder.
