Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolOlivier Lambert is a seasoned open-source founder and CEO with 13+ years building production-grade virtualization and management software from the hypervisor up. As co-founder of Vates and creator of Xen Orchestra and the XCP-ng project, he led an initiative incubated within the Linux Foundation’s Xen Project to provide a turnkey, fully open stack that enables migrations off proprietary hypervisors. His background spans hands-on Linux systems engineering, virtual infrastructure design (Xen, DRBD, LVM) and product leadership, plus technical authorship on Node.js. A frequent speaker at FOSDEM, Xen Summit and LinuxCon, he combines deep infrastructure expertise with entrepreneurial drive based in Grenoble, France. An interesting thread through his work is turning low-level sysadmin tooling into polished, widely adopted platforms that lower the barrier to open virtualization.
