Senior🎓
Top SchoolOlivier Mertens is a Solution Engineer specializing in Cloud and AI at Microsoft with 11 years of experience bridging developer advocacy, solution architecture, and hands-on software engineering. He has moved from developer relations and Azure AI roles into cloud-native app innovation, bringing practical experience from leading large engineering communities at Capgemini and technical project work in the French Air Force. Olivier combines deep technical breadth—cloud architecture, Dev/AI tooling, UX and front-end frameworks—with a knack for speaking and organizing conferences to translate complex platforms into developer-ready solutions. Known for the motto "Your tools, your code, your success," he focuses on empowering teams to own their toolchains and ship reliably at scale. A practitioner of agile and UX-informed delivery, he pairs formal training in Scrum, Symfony, and AngularJS with a background in aeronautics electronics, which gives him an uncommon systems-level view of reliability and operational constraints.
