Summary

Senior🎓
Top SchoolOlivier Penalver is a senior software engineer based in Paris with five years of hands-on experience in embedded systems, IoT and robotics. He has a strong track record designing low-level drivers, bootloaders and BLE-enabled firmware on platforms such as STM32 and Ambiq, and currently applies that expertise at Irdeto after multi-year embedded roles at Thales and Scalian. His background blends mechatronics and applied mathematics—engineer training in robotics and a patent-backed research project building an automated vibratory phenotyping system—so he moves comfortably between hardware, real-time control and algorithmic development. Known for shipping production-ready low-level code and integrating across SPI/UART/I2C/CAN stacks, he also brings product-focused experience from project management and digital identity work.
