Top SchoolOmar N is a Chief Technology Architect in Austin with 14 years of experience modernizing large public-sector IT estates and launching cloud-first platforms. He led City of Austin’s multi-cloud strategy (Azure, OCI, AWS) and is currently driving enterprise AI/ML and generative AI initiatives that sit on that new infrastructure, improving service delivery for hundreds of thousands of residents. A hands-on former startup CTO and co-founder, he built a profitable mobile SaaS platform used by 1,500+ customers and brings entrepreneurially minded engineering to civic technology. Omar combines deep integration and full-stack architecture experience with strong program leadership over large teams and multi-million dollar budgets, and he has a practical interest in no-code/low-code and conversational interfaces to expand access to city services. Notably, he blends legacy modernization with cutting-edge AI research to both reduce costs and measurably improve citizen self-service.
