Top SchoolOmar Santos is a Senior Android Engineer with a decade of hands-on experience building and leading mobile teams, currently driving Android development at Tumblr. He combines deep Android framework expertise with low-level C/C++ and JNI experience, having integrated native libraries and handled Closed Captions (CEA708) for streaming apps. Comfortable across the stack, Omar has shipped Android and iOS apps, managed Linux/embedded systems, and worked with databases and web services in agile environments. He has led teams at Havas and managed end-to-end projects—from ARM Linux board bring-up to production mobile releases—bringing strong communication and project management to technical delivery. Based in Old Toronto, his background in embedded systems and electronics gives him an uncommon edge when solving performance and platform-integration challenges.
