Summary

Senior🎓
Top SchoolOren Fromberg is a Senior Software Engineer and technical lead with nearly two decades of full-stack experience and a specialty in DevOps, SRE, and security-by-design for federal enterprise systems. He has led senior teams at the Library of Congress and CMS, building scalable CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes and ECS/Fargate deployments, and infrastructure-as-code with Terraform while driving measurable reliability improvements via DORA metrics and game-day exercises. Oren blends low-level systems work (C/C++, embedded signal processing) with modern cloud-native practices and identity/security engineering (Keycloak, automated vulnerability scanning), enabling secure, high-frequency releases. He is equally comfortable mentoring engineers and acting as incident commander, and has a track record of reducing technical debt through automation and dependency management. Based in Rockville, MD, he brings a pragmatic, cross-disciplinary perspective that surfaces hidden operational risks and turns them into repeatable engineering practices.
