Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolOscar Assad is a Senior Cloud Engineer based in Querétaro, Mexico with five years of hands-on experience designing and operating cloud-native systems across AWS and GCP. He has driven production-ready infrastructure and automation at scale—building CI/CD pipelines, serverless Lambdas, DynamoDB/Cloud Run architectures, and Terraform/GitLab workflows—for companies from startups to enterprises like Petco and Wizeline. Oscar pairs full-stack engineering skills (Node.js, Python, React) with ops-savvy work such as automated backups, SSL and DNS management, and incident triage, consistently reducing manual effort by automating repetitive tasks. Notably, he built internal admin tools that saved teams roughly 90% of setup time for events and livestreams, and recovered and reorganized compromised codebases into proper GitHub organizations. He brings a pragmatic blend of product-focused API development and platform engineering, grounded in solid academic training in software engineering.
