Oscar Baracos is a technology leader and CTO with 13 years of experience building data-intensive, blockchain-native systems and operating production infrastructure at scale. Based in Paris and trained in Computer Science at the University of Toronto, he has led engineering teams and launched high-throughput services—shipping an NFT indexing system in Go, an Ethereum snapshot Kubernetes Operator, and a $1M ARR blockchain service on bare-metal Kubernetes with full observability. He co-founded and architected onchain ETF protocols and helped scale multi-network DeFi products that won prizes at ETH Denver, combining protocol design with pragmatic SRE and automation. Comfortable across systems programming, distributed data stores like ClickHouse, Kafka, and orchestration via Helm and custom Bash tooling, he translates complex blockchain state into reliable services. Known for hands-on execution as much as strategy, he often builds bespoke tooling (operators, scripts, and auth systems) to remove operational friction and accelerate delivery.
