Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolOscar Grillo is an experienced iOS developer with 11 years building mobile products for marketplaces, fintech and mobility across Europe, currently shipping banking features at Qonto. He has led platform efforts—modularising apps, migrating Objective-C to Swift, and introducing MVVM/Rx patterns—to improve chat, payments and SDK integrations at companies like letgo, Wallapop, Ubeeqo and Apto. Comfortable both as an individual contributor and as a first-hire lead, he’s delivered production-grade SDKs and reusable architectures that speed cross-vertical development. He brings strong product sensitivity from data-driven teams (Mixpanel/Appsflyer) and a habit of driving quality through TDD and CI. Based in Catalonia, he combines startup agility with enterprise-grade reliability and a curiosity for incremental improvements that make everyday app experiences feel polished. An often-overlooked strength is his track record of turning legacy apps into high-rated, modular Swift codebases that scale.
