Top SchoolOscar Mcdermott is a UK-based software engineer with five years of experience who blends music technology expertise with solid programming skills in C#, Python, and Java. Trained in Audio Recording Technology and Music Technology at De Montfort University and Northampton College, he moves comfortably between composing/recording workflows and building software tools that support them. While he candidly "despises web dev," his technical strengths suggest a focus on backend, audio processing, or tooling rather than front-end work. Oscar brings a pragmatic, hands-on approach to projects, pairing creative musical sensibilities with engineering discipline. He’s likely to contribute most value in roles that intersect audio production and systems-level development.
