Top SchoolOscar Merry is a founder and product-focused engineering leader with 11 years’ experience building voice, audio and web products that have scaled to millions of users. He founded Fountain, a community-powered podcast and music platform, after co-founding and serving as CTO of Opearlo, a voice design studio whose Alexa apps were acquired by matchbox.io. Comfortable bridging technical product management and hands-on engineering, he has led cross-functional builds at startups and enterprise innovation programs (including Accenture) and holds an MEng in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Sheffield. Notably, his background spans voice UX, distributed systems and rapid prototyping—combining a builders’ mindset with formal engineering rigor—and he’s active in decentralized social tech communities like Nostr.
