Stockholm, Sweden
Summary
🤩
RockstarOscar Olsson is a Gameplay Engineer based in Stockholm with three years of focused experience building multiplayer systems and tooling for Unreal Engine projects. He co-founded a studio where he implemented core game systems—inventory, crafting, building, combat, and dynamic AI—with full multiplayer support, and later shipped UI frameworks and a runtime property editor that improved UX and multiplayer interactivity. Currently contributing to Off-leash Interactive and working on UnrealSharp, he blends low-level gameplay scripting with tooling that accelerates designer iteration. Oscar is particularly skilled at integrating systems like the Gameplay Ability System into production projects while optimizing for networked play. His background spans both indie product ownership and team-driven engineering, giving him a pragmatic, systems-minded approach to game development. Colleagues describe him as a developer who turns editor-side tooling into tangible gameplay productivity gains.
