Senior🎓
Top SchoolOscar Yu is a software engineer based in Toronto with nine years of technical experience and a dual academic background in Computer Science and Honors Business Administration from Western and Ivey. Currently at Roblox, he brings a pragmatic product-focused approach shaped by internships across fintech and public safety software at CIBC, BMO, Mark43, and earlier roles in analytics and tutoring. Comfortable across full-stack engineering and integration work, he has experience in eCRM and RMS product engineering that complements his risk-analysis and investment analyst background. Colleagues would describe him as analytically curious and versatile—equally likely to debug a backend service as to frame a feature in business terms. Outside of work he’s an amateur photographer and competitive mahjong player, a mix that hints at a creative eye and strategic temperament often reflected in his engineering decisions.
