Summary

Senior🎓
Top SchoolOsman Karaketir is an embedded software engineer with nine years of experience building safety-critical and Linux-based systems, now working at Qualcomm from Cork, Ireland. He brings deep C/C++ expertise across RTOS (VxWorks653), Embedded Linux (Yocto/Petalinux), device trees, and Qt-driven UIs, with hands-on experience using Ansys SCADE for certifiable software. His background spans defense and commercial suppliers including Aselsan, HAVELSAN, and Antsis, where he implemented low-level drivers and SPI/I2C communications for constrained hardware. Comfortable with both firmware and higher-level application stacks, he repeatedly moves projects from prototype to production in regulated environments. Colleagues describe him as a pragmatic problem-solver who pairs digital design intuition with rigorous embedded testing practices.
