Senior🎓
Top SchoolOtis Chou is a UX-focused frontend developer with 12 years’ experience building performant, user-centered web and hybrid apps, currently shaping experiences at Indeed in Tokyo’s Chiyoda. He brings deep React/Redux and modern JS expertise plus two years of Ruby backend experience, and has led frontend teams to deliver profitable features, design systems, and internal tooling at PayPay and 17 Media. Otis is pragmatic about developer productivity—he’s created UI libraries, CLI tools, CI pipelines, and logging/utils libraries that measurably sped up delivery and reduced operational errors. He combines hands-on implementation (from interactive editors and SDKs to large-list performance optimizations) with strong hiring and documentation practices, and coaches community workshops and a book club to share knowledge. Lately he’s exploring functional programming to broaden his approach to architecture and code quality.
