Top SchoolOtto Henrique is a senior software engineer based in São Paulo with 15+ years of experience and a strong focus on backend systems, distributed architectures, and high-volume financial integrations. He has moved from enterprise Java consulting into startup environments since 2015, shipping resilient services in Ruby and Elixir and designing event-driven, asynchronous processing for marketplaces, fintech and digital marketing products. At Adyen he tackled ISO 8583 integrations, chargeback processing and document automation at scale, and at EmCasa and Quero Educação he led teams building CRM and messaging workflows that handled hundreds of thousands of daily interactions. A language generalist and pragmatic architect, he combines hands-on coding with people leadership and clear design documentation to identify bottlenecks and drive 100x scalability improvements. Currently at Wise, he continues to apply that mix of payment domain expertise and distributed-systems know‑how while expanding into AI and smart-city studies.
