Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolOtto Rask is a pragmatic T-shaped software leader with over a decade of hands-on experience building web applications, ERPs and financial systems, now focused on enabling teams as a Team Lead at Fennoa. He blends deep PHP and ops experience with newer interests in Rust, tooling and cloud-native practices, and champions Extreme Programming and continuous whole-team approaches to improve delivery and product outcomes. Otto’s background spans solo freelancing to large-scale retail systems, where he’s combined coding with architecture, product thinking, QA automation and mentorship—notably taking a junior developer from zero to mid-level proficiency in months. Active in the Finnish fediverse as a volunteer Head of Technology, he brings practical sysadmin and hosting experience alongside organizational building skills. Outside work he tinkers with electronics and music, rides a cargo bike, and stays involved in local politics, reflecting a hands-on, community-minded approach to technology and leadership.
