Senior🎓
Top SchoolOvidiu Latcu is a React Native Lead Engineer with over a decade of hands-on software development and 15+ years of industry experience driving mobile, frontend and full-stack projects. He has repeatedly scaled teams and products—from growing CoreBuild’s mobile org from a handful to 20+ engineers to leading distributed squads at Betr that took a fantasy app to 100K users and multi-million-dollar monthly revenue. Deeply product-focused, he balances pragmatic architecture and design patterns with an aversion to over‑engineering, emphasizing fast delivery, CI/CD and test automation. He’s shipped more than 50 mobile projects, including multiple apps with over a million installs, and often bridges design, product and analytics to improve UX and business metrics. Based in Cluj‑Napoca, Romania, Ovidiu mentors engineers across seniority levels and brings a practical hybrid of native (Kotlin/Swift) and React Native/TypeScript expertise to high-impact consumer apps.
