Senior🎓
Top SchoolOvidiu Tatar is a seasoned Unix network and software engineer with over a decade of experience designing, automating and operating large-scale data center and provider networks. As a Consulting Engineer at Cisco he specializes in Nexus 9000, ACI and UCS deployments, Infrastructure as Code and network CI/CD, drawing on deep hands-on expertise in IPv4/IPv6, MPLS, BGP and QoS. He co-founded 3ziele to commercialize scalable web crawling, machine learning and NLP solutions, reflecting a rare blend of carrier-grade networking and data-mining product thinking. His early career combined systems administration, scripting (Shell, Perl, Python, AWK, Java) and build-out of internal web and automation tools that reduced SLA penalties and sped migrations at global customers. Comfortable across both low-level Unix engineering and high-level orchestration, he also has practical Erlang experience applied to high-frequency use cases—evidence of a pragmatic interest in fault-tolerant, high-throughput systems. Based in Munich, he brings a troubleshooting-first mindset and a track record of turning complex architectures into repeatable, automated operations.
