Summary
👤
SeniorØystein Bakken is a seasoned Java and web developer based in Oslo with nine years of focused experience and a much longer history in enterprise software dating back to the late 1990s. He combines backend strengths in Java, C# and SQL with practical web skills (HTML, PHP, CSS, JavaScript) and reporting expertise in Power BI and Reporting Services, having built CRM and reporting solutions at NHO and NAV. Certified as a SCRUM Master, he blends hands-on coding with team facilitation and a DevOps mindset (Kubernetes) evident from his GitHub interests. Comfortable across the stack, he pairs operational pragmatism and user support experience with an engineer’s academic background from Oslo Ingeniørhøgskole and studies at the University of New Mexico. An understated strength is his long tenure in the same organizations, signaling reliability and deep institutional knowledge that speeds delivery in complex public-sector contexts.
