Øyvind Aardal
Enterprise Architect at Equinor
Rogaland, Norway
Summary
👤
SeniorØyvind Aardal is an enterprise architect and technology leader with 14 years’ experience shaping IT, information and digitalization strategies across telecom, healthcare and oil & gas in Norway. He has led large programmes and technical architectures for Telenor and Equinor-related projects, driving operator transfers and integrated operations for the Norwegian continental shelf. Comfortable shifting between hands-on product and program delivery, he has founded and scaled early software ventures (including Snow Software roots) and later operated at board and senior manager levels. His blend of vendor, operator and public-sector experience gives him a rare perspective on pragmatic standardization, integration backbones and business-driven architecture. Based in Rogaland, he pairs strategic foresight with practical delivery—often surfacing operational constraints early to avoid costly rework. Colleagues know him for bridging technical detail and program governance to turn complex stakeholder landscapes into executable roadmaps.
