Ozzy R
Founder & CEO at Equepay
New York, New York, United States
Summary
👤
SeniorOzzy R is a founder and CEO with a decade of leadership in fintech and enterprise technology, currently steering Equepay to modernize industry-specific payment systems for healthcare, retail, and large organizations. He blends startup grit with big-enterprise turnaround experience—having led distressed, multi-year programs at AMC Networks, Beachbody, and NBCUniversal—to deliver technology strategy, process re-engineering, and measurable cost savings. Ozzy’s background spans founding multiple companies, M&A activity, and hands-on program delivery across payments, media distribution, and e-commerce, enabling him to align product roadmaps with operational realities. He’s equally comfortable building go-to-market and vendor strategies as he is optimizing revenue cycle systems like Equepay powered by MedEpay. Based in New York, Ozzy pairs pragmatic execution with a penchant for simplifying complex platforms, and his terse GitHub bio “How to code?” hints at a pragmatic, outcomes-first approach to engineering leadership.
