Top SchoolP Solano is a Senior Staff Software Engineer based in Ottawa with over a decade of experience building enterprise-scale, cloud-native applications and developer tools. He has led small engineering teams to deliver measurable business outcomes—driving sales and user engagement through desktop and web products built with Electron, React/Ember, Angular, TypeScript and Java backends. His work spans full-stack engineering, CI/CD automation, automated visual testing, and scalable AWS architectures that supported millions of concurrent transactions. At Synopsys and Oracle he improved release quality and performance through pipeline automation, visual testing, and query optimization, consistently reducing defects and deployment times. Comfortable bridging product, UX and engineering, he combines hands-on coding with architecture and mentoring to ship usable, production-ready systems. He also brings a security and networking mindset from earlier network engineering and information security work, making him effective at shipping secure developer-facing tools.
